Layaway Program Vehicles We know it's not easy sometimes to come up with the means to purchase one of our scooters. We want to help. We offer layaway with the following terms: The layaway plan terms are a percentage of the unit price as a down payment and the remainder of the price due within 30 days thereafter. Each unit offered for Layaway will have it's own terms noted for approval by the purchaser prior to purchase. The purchaser is required to accept those terms to place their item on Layaway. Please note that all layaways are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you miss a payment on the unit, we have no choice but to cancel the layaway and place the unit back up for sale. The terms of the Layaway policy are non-negotiable. Metropolitan Scooters does not charge a fee for layaway. We make no profit from the layaway plan. The plan basically splits the total cost of the vehicle (w/shipping included) into two payments. This plan is set up to make even our most expensive vehicles available to more people.
